Slowly but surely

Sorry it's been awhile since the last post (Loree says she's tired of reading about March Showers). We've mainly just been unpacking boxes and cleaning up from the basement leaking. We've made a few donations to Goodwill, and it always feels good to get rid of things.

Last week we celebrated our third wedding anniversary! We're very thankful to be in our own home this year, and are looking forward to many years of memories here.

Adam is off all this coming week, and I'm off Monday and Friday. We have quite a few (ambitious) projects planned. We'll see what all we're actually able to accomplish. This morning we took down the wallpaper in the kitchen, and as I type this Adam and his Uncle Mike and cousin Tyler are putting in quarter round in the living room.

We finally began hanging some things on the wall. It was a little painful considering all the work that went into patching and painting before we moved in, but it's nice to see things coming together and looking like a home. Check out our first wall hanging in our new home; I bought it for Adam in St. Louis:

  1. I love it! I'm finally back from Vegas (I was barely on the web while I was there) and one of the first things I did was come here to see if there were any updates. Tons of new posts... Yay!
